Growers’ Notes and Photos (USDA Zone 4 Experience)
Indeterminate, mid-season slicing variety. Fruits are flattened-round, pink, sometimes showing a reddish tint on the upper half of the tomato. Dense flesh with very few seeds.
I didn’t get to properly evaluate true vine-ripened flavor because I had to pull them underripe and let them finish ripening on the counter indoors. But even counter-ripened, the taste was very good and well balanced, with plenty of sweetness and a nice acidic punch. Grew outdoors in open ground, yield was average or slightly above. Definitely giving this one another run, but in the greenhouse next time. Seeds from T. Kouchnareva.
