Seeds from Lena Danko. Description: Indeterminate, fruits are large pink elongated hearts, flattened on the sides, weight 8.8-12.3 oz (250-350 g). A stunner! Red, slightly flattened hearts. Absolutely delicious! Sweet. Productive. Early. Sets fruit all the way to the roof. Barely dropped any blossoms in the heat. Meaty, but juicy.

Bear’s Heart. One of the most successful and beautiful strains 👍 of a difficult 2020 season. Grew 2 vines pruned to 2 stems in the greenhouses, productive, they set amazingly beautiful pink ribbed hearts, weighing about 7-10.5 oz (200-300 g), meaty, tasty 😋 Seeds from Masha- @Murka 🙏

Sveta, yours look so beautiful!!!! I didn’t take pictures of the ripe ones last season, so I repeated it this year and planted it right against the greenhouse wall. Well, the slugs absolutely devoured it. Didn’t get a single good tomato.

Ladies, please describe the taste in more detail.

Sveta, is this strain tastier than Bear Creek (Medvezhiy Ruchey)?

I can’t really say, I don’t remember, I grew Bear Creek a different year and it’s a dark tomato, but also tasty.

The taste of any tomato on your own soil can change depending on many factors, you just have to try it. I remember Bear’s Heart was tasty, but I’ve forgotten the exact nuances 😅

Tanya, Bear Creek is a black tomato, and Bear’s Heart is pink. The flavor is rich and sweet, but not cloyingly sweet, and the flesh is firm and meaty.

Thanks, Svetik! Guess I’ll leave both of them on my order list. I’ll test them out at my place.
