Growers’ Notes and Photos (USDA Zone 4 Experience)
Red Striped Furry Hog (USA)
Seeds were from Popenko. In the greenhouse, it was productive and grew over 6.5 ft (2 m) tall. The fruits are meaty but juicy, with thick walls. The flavor is on the sweeter side, with a nice tang and spicy undertones. For me, the days to maturity turned out to be mid-late.
