An early-ripening variety for open ground and film shelters. The period from germination to fruiting is 103-109 days. Determinate plants, moderately branching, 50-70 cm (20-27 inches) tall. Tomatoes are round, smooth, weighing 70-110 g (2.5-4 oz), very uniform. The taste qualities are excellent. Recommended for fresh consumption, home processing, and canning. The fruits do not overripen quickly on the bushes and transport well. A variety with a concentrated, uniform harvest; yield is 5-6 kg per sq. meter.
In principle, I agree with the description, EXCEPT for the maturity timeline! I specifically highlighted it: the stated period is from germination to fruiting! Add the time it actually takes for them to ripen and… voila 😃 the variety turns out to be mid-season! Now that I agree with 🌸
Now about the taste: I liked this little tomato very much. Tender, meaty, sweet flesh. There are not many seeds, and they are located closer to the outer walls in very small seed locules. I also really liked the shape of the fruits—round, but slightly shaped like a little barrel, with a slight “beak” (point) on the bottom.
This variety is definitely staying in my permanent collection! 🌸
