📌 Quick Summary (TL;DR): Vashe Velichestvo (Your Majesty)
- 🌍 Origin: A commercial variety from the Siberian breeder “Altai Seeds”. It is officially listed in the Russian State Register. The name translates to “Your Majesty”.
- 🌿 Plant Habit: Indeterminate (tall). It has classic “oxheart” characteristics, meaning the plant is spindly and flimsy with very thin, wispy foliage. Don’t let the sad-looking plant fool you, it can produce massive fruits!
- 🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Large lemon-yellow to bright yellow fruits. The shape is typically heart-shaped, though it can throw oblate or rounded fruits. The interior is pure solid meat with practically zero seeds.
- 👅 Flavor Debate: This variety gets very mixed reviews on flavor! Some growers say it is mind-blowingly sweet and tastes like a tropical fruit. Others find it very mild, low-acid, and quite bland. It likely depends heavily on your soil, weather, and watering habits.
- ⚠️ Grower’s Note: The fruit is so meaty that saving seeds is notoriously difficult. Sometimes a 1 lb tomato won’t have a single seed inside!
A tall, mid-season, and very large-fruited tomato variety with a beautiful yellow color. My seeds were from Valentina Redko, huge thanks to her. The only downside for us is that the fruits have very few seeds. Oh, and you definitely need to tie up the trusses to support the weight. It didn’t crack much, unlike a lot of other varieties this year.
Your Majesty has a very beautiful lemon-yellow color and a great shape, it was a perfect sphere! I only got 2 fruits on the first truss weighing about 1.1 lbs (500 g) each, and that was it. Taste-wise it seemed a bit bland to me. My plant didn’t grow taller than 3 feet (1 m) either. 🤷♀️
I grew it last year. Had 4 trusses (11 tomatoes total) weighing around 14 to 25 oz (400-700 g). Beautiful, but the flavor is definitely on the bland side. Though to be fair, last year even my Rozovyi Myod (Pink Honey) was bland and everyone always praises that one.
It feels like people are describing two completely different varieties, the fruit shape and plant height are so different 😳
My Your Majesty from Altai Seeds turned out yellow and heart-shaped. The fruits are very juicy and tasty. Good yield too.
My seeds came from Belarus. 🙏 I grew it in the greenhouse. The yield wasn’t the highest, but it wasn’t a great weather year anyway, plus it was my first time growing them. But the taste was super good. The plant threw both oblate and slightly elongated fruits. There were literally zero seeds in the biggest one, just solid meat.
I just don’t understand why this variety hasn’t become a universal favorite on the forum yet?! 😂
I’ve been growing it for three years now, both in the greenhouse and outside in the ground. For me, it’s the best tasting tomato not just among the yellows, but among all colored varieties in general. 😋 The skin is practically non-existent, it feels more like some tropical exotic fruit rather than a tomato! 😋👍
And it’s productive too!
I have a sneaking suspicion… Could this actually be Tsarevich? 🤐

Tanya, I think Tsarevich is a bit more watery and has larger seed cavities. Its flavor is sweet with just a barely noticeable tang. I grew Your Majesty from Altai seeds and it was solid meat, I could barely even find any seeds in it. But I wasn’t a huge fan of the taste, it was bland like those low-acid white varieties.

Tanyusha, Tsarevich is more orange in color. And I liked its taste better, it was sweeter 😋
I looked up Tsarevich, they really do look alike. And they both have those royal names haha 😂
Probably relatives LOL!
Average yield, and the flavor turned out bland for me. So I didn’t really care for it.

More likely the other way around. Tsarevich is an imposter (in the state register it’s completely different, red and small), while Your Majesty is the real deal from Altai, officially listed in the State Register.
Planted it right next to Mazarini. Flimsy spindly plant. Absolutely zero flavor. Tasted like straight water.
