Quick Summary of Chudo (Wonderwork)

“A masterpiece variety. Bush height is 1.3–1.7 m (4.2–5.5 ft). The fruits are large, up to 600 g (1.3 lbs), and there are many of them on the plant. It is distinguished by an unforgettable sweet taste and a very beautiful fruit shape. Mid-season, raspberry-pink color. Disease resistant and unpretentious.”
Mine grew in open ground. The fruits were large, but they turned out a bit bland in taste for me. Maybe the cold and rainy summer of 2015 affected the flavor. The yield was average — it skipped setting some trusses.
I grew Chudo (Wonderwork) this year. Had two bushes. Seeds were from Kulik.
I really liked it. It didn’t drop its blossoms in the heat. In my conditions, it turned out to be quite productive, just as Kulik promised. 🙂
I wouldn’t say the taste is bland at all — for heart-shaped tomatoes (oxhearts), it has a very worthy flavor.
Fruit size is from 300 g (10.5 oz) and up. I will definitely be growing it again.
I repeated Chudo in 2020. The variety did not disappoint this time either.
