The variety is productive, the bush is strong and healthy. The taste is average, I would say it’s best for juices and processing.
I didn’t get a very large harvest, but for taste and beauty it gets a +5 👍
I grew Kangaroo Heart in 2013. The variety is productive, the higher up the fruits were, the larger they got. I don’t remember the taste, but there’s a 😋 smiley face in my old Garden Diary, so I probably liked it 😄.

First and foremost, I remember it for its yield. The tomatoes weigh from 300 to 600 g (10.5-21 oz), but there are a lot of them 😳. The taste is typical for oxhearts. A very worthy variety.

My Kangaroo Hearts — seeds from GalinaD. Galochka, thank you very much! The taste is wonderful! I trained the bush to 2 stems in a polycarbonate greenhouse. Height up to 1.5 m (5 ft). The fruits are large and very large. During a heatwave (over 40°C / 104°F!) there were white veins inside. Once it got cooler, they disappeared. Picked green, they ripened indoors without losing flavor.
Found a photo of a cross-section. Well, it was a very tasty tomato!

We had a hot summer, my Kangaroo Hearts were very sweet with a little acidity for a balanced taste. The flesh is dark red, the tomatoes store longer than acid-free pink oxhearts.
If it is cold and cloudy where you are, and grown in poor soil, they might be more acidic.
The tomato is productive, sweet; compared to raspberry-pink oxhearts, the taste is more intense. It grew outdoors in open ground, didn’t get sun scald, the bush was about 1.7 meters (5.6 ft) tall, photos on the scale from July 16.

My soil is good, I’ve kept goats and poultry for many years. And I think it will like it in the greenhouse. But the fact that they store for a long time — thank you for that. 🙌 Well, there it is — another one added to the wish list !!! 😂
Indet. Grew in the greenhouse, was up to 1.5 m (5 ft). I initially expected a small harvest, but it surprised me. There were a lot of fruits, it only skipped the 2nd truss. Large red hearts of excellent taste.
I plan to put Kangaroo Heart in a tall hoop house, it’s perhaps the only one of my tomatoes that had poor germination this year. I sowed it 2 times, 3 seeds each, and only 1 sprouted on the second try, we’ll see… I really want such beautiful hearts too!
I have this variety under the name Kangaroo Heart Pink. Is it the same variety or a different one? But I liked the variety. Large, sweet.

A wonderful variety Kangaroo Heart — mid-season variety, indet. Bush height 1.8 m (6 ft), moderate foliage.
The fruits are beautiful, perfectly shaped hearts of dark red color. Yield is good, it set fruit with almost no skips. Fruiting is extended. The last fruits were picked in the second half of September.
The taste is very intense, sweet with a bit of acidity, unlike pink oxheart varieties. The flesh is incredibly tender.
