Indeterminate, mid-season, tall-growing variety. Robust, vigorous vine carrying healthy potato-leaf foliage.Originates from a deliberate cross between Pale Perfect Purple and Purple Price.

Fruit Density, Seasonal Flavor Shift, and Lineage

The fruits are oblate beefsteaks in a striking, rich color: a deep mahogany blend of rose-pink, purple, and brown. The slicers are dense, meaty, and firm.

Flavor went through a noticeable evolution over the season: starting out relatively flat and bland in mid-summer, improving to very good, and by September the fruit turned downright delicious with rich sweetness.

Overall yield was a bit above average.
