Quick Summary of Radunitsa

Radunitsa. As the seed packet description says: “The fruits are distinguished by a high content of dry matter and sugars.” And yes, the tomato is indeed very tasty. Each truss holds several eye-pleasing fruits, and it is a very dense, meaty, and sweet tomato.
Because of these exact qualities, it became an absolute favorite for my winter canning and processing. It has reserved a permanent spot in my grow list for every single year.
I should also note that it sets fruit quite well (it only skipped a few blossoms on the third truss—so not a full cluster there in the greenhouse). It did great despite the fact that my second plant was growing outdoors in a standard pot right against the greenhouse wall. It also has a very good shelf life.

They are from “Siberian Garden” (SibSad), bought at a regular store.
I grew them both in the greenhouse and outdoors in the open ground. In the greenhouse, the yield turned out to be lower… only two to three fruits per truss. However, outdoors, the trusses held about 5 fruits each.
The fruits are very dense with thick walls. At first, they color up to yellow, but if you let them hang on the vine a bit longer, they turn a deep orange. At this stage, they are incredibly delicious—very similar to Zolotoy Königsberg and Yuzhnyi Zagar (Southern Tan). Weight is around 200-300 g (7-10.5 oz). Seeds were from SibSad.
