In the photo with the jars, the yellow plums—that’s Taiko.
I planted as many as 7 bushes of it, and I didn’t regret it. It’s excellent for canning, and it’s also very nice just for fresh eating—sweet, I liked it a lot.

Is the skin on them thick? Like on Casady’s Folly (Безумие Кассади), for example? Or is it thin? 🙂
No, it’s not thick, and not super thin either. Just a normal skin.
I really loved this tomato!!!! It set fruit continuously throughout the whole season right up until the first frosts. I left it in the greenhouse along with Purple-Brown Plum (you can see it in the photo). I felt bad throwing away bushes that were still completely covered in tomatoes. And I made the right choice! In early November, I picked an 8-liter (approx. 2-gallon) bucket from just one bush! Very productive, tasty. Just perfect for canning.
