It grew in the greenhouse, indeterminate, mid-season. The yield was average. The fruits are very beautiful, meant for stuffing (hollow inside). Taste gets a 4. Irikha shared the seeds with me 🌸
Larisa, why for stuffing? Mine wasn’t empty inside at all. A sweet, juicy tomato, more of a salad type. I tried canning it, but it turns out too soft. I like them to stay firm in the marinade. I grew it in 2013 in open ground. Natasha NatNik from the Saratov region shared the seeds with me 🌸🌸🌸
I grew this tomato this season — it was firm, very suitable for jars (canning), and absolutely not empty inside.
Mine wasn’t empty either; it was juicy, tasty, and sweet. More of a salad type than a pickling/canning type. I didn’t like it in jars—it fell apart and got mushy.
