📌 Quick Summary (TL;DR): Chianti Rose
- 🌍 Origin: An American heirloom, reportedly developed from a cross between the legendary ‘Brandywine’ and an unknown Italian heirloom variety.
- 🌿 Plant Habit: Indeterminate, Potato Leaf (PL) foliage.
- 🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Large pink beefsteaks, oblate (flat-round) in shape. They are quite massive, typically weighing between 300-500g (10.5–17.5 oz).

Description: A late-season variety, indeterminate, with potato leaf (PL) foliage. The fruits are pink, oblate (flat-round), with tender, juicy flesh and a harmonious, balanced taste! The fruits are large (300-500g / 10.5-17.5 oz), perfect for fresh slicing.
My Review: Unfortunately, nothing outstanding grew for me. It was just a good, standard oblate tomato. The taste was very ordinary, just a regular tomato flavor.
(I was surprised not to find this variety in our catalog yet. If I simply missed it, I ask the moderators to merge this thread).
