Quick Summary of Rozovoe Utro (Pink Morning)
- 🌍 Origin: A relatively new commercial variety from the famous Russian seed company “Siberian Garden” (SibSad).
- 🌿 Plant Habit: Officially classified as a tall determinate, but its height heavily depends on growing conditions. Outdoors in open ground, it usually stops around 1.3 meters (4.3 ft). However, in a greenhouse, it exhibits strong, vigorous growth and can easily reach 2 meters (6.5 ft) tall. It is highly adaptable and sets fruit reliably without dropping blossoms. Outdoors, it requires minimal pruning and can be grown multi-stemmed.
- 🍅 Fruit Characteristics: Large pink beefsteaks ranging from 200g up to 400g (7-14 oz). A unique feature is its skin: growers note a delicate pink color with a beautiful “moiré” (pearlescent or shimmering) finish.
- 👅 Flavor & Texture: Juicy and very tasty. The flesh has a highly desirable “buttery” and smooth texture with a perfectly balanced classic tomato flavor.

One of the newer varieties from Sib.Sad (Siberian Garden). I grew two bushes outdoors in open ground.
According to the official description, it’s a determinate reaching 1.3-1.8m. Mine was about 1.3m (4.3 ft) in the open ground. Mid-season maturity.
I hardly pruned (suckered) it at all, I don’t remember exactly how many stems it had, but there were many. The fruits average 200-300g (7-10.5 oz), a delicate pink color with a moiré (pearlescent/shimmering) finish, very beautiful.
The flesh is juicy, buttery, and perfectly balanced. For me, it turned out to be very productive. Unfortunately, these are the only photos I could find for now, they don’t quite convey the full beauty of this variety. I should have more photos somewhere, when I find them, I will definitely add them.
I grew Rozovoe Utro this year, seeds were from Siberian Garden. I really liked the variety.
It didn’t drop any blossoms, the bush was strong and vigorous, about 2 meters (6.5 ft) tall in the greenhouse. The yield is very good. Fruit weight is 300-400g (10.5-14 oz). The color of the tomatoes is beautiful, bright pink, and they are tasty and juicy.
