Beautiful variety 👍. Lena-Pushistik shared the seeds, she got hers from Gusev (Pomidom). Indet, grew one vine in the greenhouse, yielded pretty well. Fruits are a pale yellowish color, and when fully ripe, they get a little pink blush on the blossom end. Weight is about 3.5 to 10.5 oz (100-300 g).

The flavor is interesting, probably similar to other white varieties – zero acidity, not super sweet, but just kind of delicate and mild 🙂

Sveta, what’s the maturity on this? Does the vine take up a lot of space in the greenhouse? How many leaders should I train it to?

Just got my seeds from Gusev today. Trying to figure out when to sow them.
Thanks!

In my conditions it’s mid-season. Think I sowed them in early March. If anyone really needs the exact date, it’s in my grow log from last year, hopefully you won’t mind digging for it 🙈 Planted out in the greenhouse around May 5th.

Ran two stems. It’s a pretty well-behaved vine, totally average footprint for an indet 🙂

My White Cherry looked exactly that color last year, and it got that same pink blush later on too. Plus the flavor Svetik described sounds identical.

Svetik, thanks for the seeds 😘
I absolutely loved Swan Song too 👍 😋
Here’s how mine turned out. Photo is from August 26th, already heavily snacked on:

Indet, grew just like a normal vine. Ran two stems.
First tomato ripened on July 25th from a Feb 19th sowing.
Has a really long production window. Flavor is super mild and it turned out to be a massive yielder. The harvest photo is all from one vine (not even all of them, obviously).

It’s hypoallergenic, great for people with allergies.
Looks awesome mixed into a colorful salad 👍 😋
Definitely going to try growing more white varieties now 🙂

Full Summary: Plant, Yield, Taste and Usages

  • 🌿 Plant: Indeterminate, mid-season. The vine is well-behaved, taking up an average amount of space, and responds very well to being trained to two leaders (running two stems).
  • 🍅 Fruit: Very pale yellow/white, developing a distinct pink blush on the blossom end when fully ripe. Sizes range from 3.5 to 10.5 oz (100-300 g).
  • 📈 Yield: Excellent. Growers report very heavy harvests over a surprisingly long production window.
  • 👅 Taste & Use: Mild, delicate, and completely acid-free. Because it lacks the high acid and red pigment of standard tomatoes, it is considered hypoallergenic, making it a fantastic slicing option for those with dietary sensitivities. Looks beautiful sliced into mixed-color salads.
